The West Dummerston Fire Department is a volunteer fire department serving the town of Dummerston. Dummerston is a small town in South Eastern Vermont just north of Brattleboro.

Our 30 members and 5 apparatus respond to average of 150 calls per year ranging from car accidents to car fires and structure fires. We also provide medical first response to the citizens of our town.

Grant Award: We have been awarded a round 2 Assistance to Firefighters Grant for purchasing 16 sets of Firefighting gear and a washer/extractor to wash the gear. The total value of the grant is over $47,000.

Upcoming Events

The annual Sugar-on-Snow supper will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Dummerston Grange. Tickets for the event are $10 for Adults and $5 for children.

 

The annual Fishing Derby will be held on June 6, 2010 at the Dummerston Center Station.
